  Charming restaurant.
  
  Great drinks.
  
  We were here for SDCC and had a great time. Tacos were good. Service was quick. And the corn on the cob is phenomenal.
  
  Nothing much else to say except if you're stuck in this area without a car this is a good option for lunch or dinner. Can be lively.

  Meh.
  
  I was excited after reading the reviews but this restaurant certainly didn't live up to the hype.  I don't eat meat and this restaurant offered several veggie options so I was enthusiastic to sit on the patio, enjoy the weather and have a good meal.
  
  I asked for spicy salsa and was told they had a green and a red but nothing that was spicier. They were both mild - the green was served to me with a hair in it.
  
  I ordered a margarita that was supposed to be spicy. The drink arrived - it was bland and tasted more like flavored water.
  
  I ordered a potato taco with beans and rice. I was expecting a lot of flavor since bad ass is in their name but the food served to me severely lacked any flavor.  
  
  A tip for the chef - serving plain mashed potatoes in a taco so you have a veggie option is just lazy.  Adding salt would be a start but better yet, add green chilies, cayenne, cumin ANYTHING would be an improvement.
  
  The beans and rice were just as lame as everything else. No flavor.

  This place is okay. My boyfriend and I shared a taco plate (3 tacos with rice and beans) with an extra taco on the side. I ordered a fish taco and a carnitas taco.
  
  I definitely don't think the fish taco is worth the money. The carnitas taco, however was amazing. The balance of savory, sweet and tangy is great!
  
  The rice and beans were okay. The beans were better than the rice, the rice was just average and lacking flavor. They added corn and peas to the rice, which I was not really a fan of. The beans were pretty smooth and creamy and went well with the cheese on top.
  
  I think if you're looking for a fun Latin atmosphere, this place is great! I loved the atmosphere, I felt very at home.
  
  The food could use some work tho! I've had better food at different Mexican/Latin restaurants.
